Cookie Policy
This policy lists every cookie and similar technology EdgeFinder uses. Analytics and advertising are off until you turn them on, and you can change your mind at any time.

1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We also use two related browser features: localStorage, which keeps a value until it is cleared, and sessionStorage, which is discarded when you close the tab. Everything in this policy is listed whichever mechanism it uses, because from a privacy standpoint the distinction does not matter to you.
2. Your choice
Analytics and advertising are denied by default for every visitor, including before you answer the banner. Nothing in those two categories loads until you consent, and withdrawing consent reloads the page so that anything already running stops.
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to review or change your choice at any time. Strictly necessary storage cannot be turned off, because the Services cannot sign you in or remember your cookie choice without it.
3. Strictly necessary
Set without consent, because the Services do not work without them. None are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

5. Advertising — consent required
Ads are shown to free and Scout-tier users. The AdSense script is not fetched at all until you turn advertising on. We also send Google Consent Mode v2 signals, which default to denied.

6. Browser controls
Independently of our banner, your browser can block or delete cookies and clear site storage. Blocking strictly necessary storage will sign you out and make the consent banner reappear on every visit. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.
7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Turning advertising off in "Cookie settings" is our opt-out mechanism for the sale or sharing of personal information under the CPRA and comparable US state laws. See the Privacy Policy for the full explanation.
